Beginners Online Lipreading Class for Age UK Richmond

This short lipreading course, designed exclusively for Age UK Richmond is for residents of Richmond-upon-Thames who are aged over 60. It starts in February 2024 and is intended for beginners. The class consists of 4 x 1.5 hour sessions and is conducted entirely online, via Zoom. The cost is £45 for the entire course, which is payable to Age UK Richmond. Registration for the course is administered by Age UK Richmond.

Venue: This lipreading class is delivered online, via Zoom
Cost: £45
Who Are The Classes For?
To register for these lipreading classes you must be:
A resident of the Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames
Over 60 years of age
Please note, these sessions are delivered in spoken English, not British Sign Language.

What Can I Do after the Course Has Finished?

Who Is the Tutor?
Daryl is an experienced, ATLA qualified lipreading teacher holding a City and Guilds Adult Education qualification. He has his own hearing loss. Daryl teaches lipreading & managing hearing loss for City Lit in Holborn. He lives and works in Richmond-upon-Thames.
