We don't just offer lipreading and managing hearing loss classes, we can also provide Deaf Awareness Training with our fully qualified, highly experienced deaf education tutors. You will get a practical, sometimes humorous and truthful insight into living with hearing loss. We want to share some of the issues faced by many people with hearing loss on a daily basis.
We have a simple intention - to ask companies, organisations and staff to think about the options available when encountering people with hearing loss and deafness. We want you to understand the unique situation that each deaf individual lives with and to consider this in everyday working life. With our help your staff will feel more comfortable and confident to interact with deaf people, helping your organisation to be compliant with the Equality Act 2010.
The deaf awareness training sessions are interactive, occasionally hard-hitting, thought provoking and stimulating.
We can provide online deaf awareness training, or face-to-face deaf awareness training depending on where you are located. Areas within Greater London with good transport links are best served. The online deaf awareness courses are provided over Zoom, although Microsoft Teams is possible.
Because we like to individually tailor our packages, please contact us with your requirements, and we can provide a quote. Our rates are very competitive. We offer three hour, and six-hour training courses, but can also offer quicker, more succinct sessions should you prefer. Please mention this in your e-mail.
