Lipreading Taster Classes

These online lipreading taster classes are short workshops delivered via Zoom. They are designed to give you an idea of what an online lipreading class is all about. Scroll down for registration and payment links.

You do not need any prior experience of lipreading. All UK based students are welcome. These classes are delivered in spoken English, captions will be available if required. 

These taster classes last for 1.5  hours, with an eye-break in the middle. 

Cost is £12.50. The tutor is Daryl. They will take place on:

Saturday 8th of November 2025, 10 AM-11.30 AM

Thursday 13th of November 2025, 6 PM-7.30 PM

These online lipreading taster classes are conducted via Zoom, so you will need to be a competent user of that platform. These lipreading classes are not Zoom classes, so you should be able to log in, set yourself up and join the class without instruction.

Please do not join from a mobile phone or tablet, if possible.

The lipreading taster will give you an indication of what a typical online lipreading class is like, you may then wish to join one of the online beginners lipreading classes starting in January 2026 (dates/times TBC).

Please note that refunds are not offered for these lipreading tasters. Students should be based in the UK, and make payment with a UK payment card.
